Maple Bacon Glazed Brussels Sprouts with Toasted Pecans

Description
Serve an easy holiday side dish that’s loaded with bright seasonal flavor, salty sweet Maple Bacon Glazed Brussels Sprouts with Toasted Pecans.
Ingredients
- 2 lbs brussels sprouts (washed, outer leaves trimmed, ends cut off)
- 4 slices thick cut bacon
- 1/2 cup olive oil
- 1.2 cup real maple syrup
- 2 tbsp Dijon Mustard
- 1 tsp sea salt
- 1/2 tsp ground pepper
- 1 dash cayenne
- 3/4 cup pecan pieces
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 425 degrees Fahrenheit
- Place Brussels sprouts in a large bowl. Whisk olive oil, maple syrup and Dijon mustard in a small bowl or jar.
- Pour over Brussels sprouts. Add salt, pepper and dash of cayenne. Mix to combine.
- Place face down on large, rimmed baking sheet and roast for 20 minutes or until caramelized and tender at once. Stir halfway through.
- Meanwhile, cook bacon according to package instructions. Once cooled, cut into small, bite sized pieces.
- Toast pecan pieces in a skillet over medium heat, until fragrant (3-5 minutes) or in the oven prior to adding Brussels sprouts (3-5 minutes).
- Sprinkle toasted pecans and bacon over roasted Brussels sprouts
