Description

Whether for brunch or as a fresh, spring appetizer, serve this Smoked Salmon Flatbread recipe featuring goat cheese, capers, red onions and dill at your next gathering.

Ingredients

1 artisan flatbread (such as Specially Selected Stone Artisan Flatbread from ALDI)

6 ounces smoked salmon (such as Specially Selected Cold Smoked Salmon from ALDI)

1 4-ounce goat cheese log

2 – 3 Tbsp capers

2 Tbsp fresh chopped dill

1 Tbsp finely chopped red onion (optional)

1 Tbsp fresh lemon zest

Instructions

  1. Cook flatbread according to package directions until toasted.
  2. Cut flatbread into widthwise into 3 rectangular pieces. Cut each rectangular piece into a triangle by cutting a diagonal line from one corner to the opposite corner.
  3. Spread goat cheese evenly among 6 flatbread triangles. Divide smoked salmon equally among flatbread using approximately 1-ounce smoked salmon per triangle. Sprinkle flatbread pieces evenly with capers, dill, onion and lemon zest. Serve immediately.
