How to Create a Hot Chocolate Station

While we may not be entertaining those outside of our household this holiday, there are still many ways to make memories and establish new traditions. One fun way to do this is by finding a treat that my family loves like hot chocolate, pancakes, cupcakes, cookies, etc. and setting up a festive “bar” or “station” to allow them to customize this treat to their liking.

With these colder temps settling in, I’ve decided that a hot chocolate station is just what we need for a delicious treat. To create a DIY hot chocolate bar, simply offer a favorite flavor or two of hot chocolate then provide favorite stir-ins.

Here’s what I like to use to create a hot chocolate bar:

Baker’s Corner Marshmallows

Friendly Farms Whipped Dairy Topping (flavored and/or plain)

Whether you make one large appetizer spread or create individual ones, ALDI has all of the ingredients you need to prepare a festive and enticing charcuterie board. I love using their selection of fresh meats and delicious cheeses like Appleton Farms Prosciutto, Appleton Farms Gourmet Deli Selection, Emporium Selection Goat Cheese Logs and Emporium Selection Brie Rounds as the stars of this charcuterie Christmas tree.
