The shoppers have voted – over 177,000 of them! – and agree that these ALDI fan favorite products across 20 categories comprise the very best offerings this year.

For years, ALDI has been my go-to shopping destination for everything from toothpaste to tomatoes to toilet paper. I’m one of the fortunate ones that has 3 ALDI stores within just miles of my house.
While I am certainly bias to certain ALDI-only products and have my absolute favorites (ie. Specially Selected Cold Smoked Salmon, Stonemill Pure Vanilla Extract, Specially Selected Dark Chocolate Sea Salt Caramels, PurAqua Cherry Lime Sparkling Water, Mama Cozzi’s Flatbreads…), I’m so excited to share the 2020 Fan Favorite list to see what over 177k of you voted as your top picks.
When you browse this list below, I’ll be sure to chime in which of the products win top rank in our house too. Right now, if you peeked into my fridge, freezer or pantry you would see many of them there. As for the rest, I can’t wait to give them a try!

What is the ALDI Fan Favorites Survey?
ALDI has long said that there are three important factors that make their brand so unique – their loyal customers, their high quality products and their unbeatable prices. In an effort to bring this trifecta together, ALDI launched the Fan Favorite program last year in an effort to help shoppers identify the products their customers choose again and again.
The ALDI Fan Favorites survey asked shoppers to pick their most-loved products ranging from produce to cheese to wine or beer, and even asked people to select which ALDI-exclusive product they think is “better than the brand.”
Last year, over 40,000 people voted in the 2019 Fan Favorite survey. This year, the response to the 2020 ALDI Fan Favorites survey was simply incredible — more than 177,000 people took the survey. Fan participation in this year’s survey offers more proof that shoppers love ALDI-exclusive products and are passionate about sharing ALDI love.

You will see the Fan Favorite logo (shown above) next to the price tag for each winning product. Use this blue heart-shaped seal to help identify the most loved products chosen by loyal ALDI customers.

*When we first learned about the need to stay in and quarantine in early March 2020, I immediately hit ALDI to stock up on freezer meals. While these pizzas are found in the refrigerated section, I found that they froze and reheated beautifully.

*I recently purchased avocados from ALDI for $0.49 each. Enough said. Prices for avocados at the grocery store lately have been upwards of $2! You can’t beat the prices at ALDI!

*ALDI sells award-winning wines at great prices, many of which are under $10. Winking Owl is a cult favorite and at less than $3 a bottle, such a bargain! Wine Enthusiast also named ALDI a winner in the Value-Driven category of its America’s 50 Best Wine Retailers of 2020. Fun fact, Winking Owl is the overall favorite product in Georgia and there was a tie for Mama Cozzi’s Take & Bake Deli Pizza and Winking Owl Wine in Alabama.

Is It Safe to Grocery Shop at ALDI?
If you’re thinking to yourself, ALDI sounds great but I haven’t been back to the grocery store yet. Or if you’re wondering whether or not it is safe to grocery shop at ALDI, let me reassure you. ALDI has and continues to follow very strict safety measures for its customers and staff. In fact, it was the first place I went when I finally ventured out of the house and stopped ordering groceries via delivery. The store is extremely clean and I have seen on every trip wiping down/sanitizing surfaces throughout the day. However, if you still don’t feel comfortable, many ALDI locations offer curbside pickup and grocery delivery. You can go to shop.aldi.us to place your order for delivery or pickup.
