Easter is just around the corner which means that I’ll be heading to ALDI to stock on up ingredients for our Easter meal. Right now, our plans are still in the air but because a large majority of us have been vaccinated or still have COVID antibodies, we’re hoping to attend a small family gathering outdoor to celebrate Easter. Fingers crossed it will be safe to do so but, regardless, our traditional, indoor, sit down meal won’t be happening. That’s why I’m excited to start new traditions this year with a new spring appetizer and Easter dessert featuring ingredients from ALDI.

DIY Spring Flatbread Appetizers
Whether you pre-make these flatbreads or allow your family to DIY with their favorite ingredients, this fresh appetizer is sure to make a big impression. Serve up Spring Veggie Flatbreads with herbed goat cheese, radish slices, peas and asparagus curls. You can also offer a brunch-inspired flatbread with smoked salmon, goat cheese, capers, red onions and dill. And be sure to include my most popular, Charcuterie Flatbread with marinated feta, olives, and salami.
Easter Bunny Cupcakes
Hop into the kitchen to make these darling Easter Bunny Cupcakes. The best part – the cupcakes use only 2 ingredients – a box of cake mix and a cup of unsweetened applesauce. Frost these tasty cupcakes then decorate with halved marshmallows, sprinkles and jelly beans to create an adorable, family-friendly Easter dessert.
